    Tractor for Municipal Easement Work

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far! For the most part, we have "fairly" flat ground to contend with. The tractor may have to traverse a few miles of easements, but would be trailered between jobs, not driven down the road. Currently, we have an 18 or 20-foot, 10k GVW trailer that would...

    Tractor for Municipal Easement Work

I manage a fleet for the local water utility just outside of DC. We are responsible for maintaining our own easements and right-of-ways. Currently, the group responsible is using a 2013 B3200HSD with a 4ft bush hog and a John Deere 325G with a diamond brush cutter pro x to maintain them. The...

    Dryer Repair

Our GE dishwasher randomly quit back in June, did some troubleshooting that suggested the controll board under the unit was bad and google confirmed it was a common problem. $98 later and 30 minutes we were back in business. Did not want to mess with finding and installing a new one with a...

Rear Hydraulics and Tilt Cylinder Lengths

Like TheOldHokie said, it's easier to tap the PB pipe on the loader valve. I had already installed fittings when I did my 3rd function install. All I had to do was move one hose from returning into the PB loop after the 3rd function and use it to feed the remotes, then one new hose from the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That's certainly a possibility!! A buddy of mine pulled some cylinders off a Bobcat-branded skid steer attachment and had good luck with reliability and sourcing parts easily.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thats a bummer, makes one think twice about buying something sans cylinders and just sourcing your own from like surplus center.

personal protection in the heat, ticks, poison ivy?

I will always take extra breaks and drink more water to stay protected from ivy versus wearing shorts and no sleeves, because it's "too hot." Sounds like an excuse for being perpetually dehydrated. I live in VA, Humidity is a killer around here, just something you learn to deal with and work...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thank you very much!! I didn't even think about the difference for those with a backhoe. I took the box and bar off mine across the back when I did my hydraulic top link as it was just in the way and annoying.

L2501 Turbo: A Journey Defined - The tractor, The comparison, The modification, The results...

I love this thread and have been following along with Hahnsolo on his journey with the B2650, as I have the same tractor. I'd kind of like to one day do the same for the additional PTO power. The size of the tractor is great for me, but some additional umph for the PTO could be a welcome addition.

Finding a water leak in a buried line

When I finally realized mine was leaking was when I was in the basement and kept hearing the contactor for the well pump kick on. Watch the tank, then like clockwork, it would drain and refill. I checked everything I could in the house; it was late and had been raining, so I figured I'd look...

4x4 golf carts / electric UTV?

Many companies make EV utility vehicles now. Cushman, Max-EV, and GreenWorks are popular ones I see in the fleet spaces I'm in. There's a GreenWorks dealer by my house that is part of the Massey dealer, they bring em out to the County Fair. If they met my needs, I would consider GreenWorks...

Finding a water leak in a buried line

My yard hydrant line sprang a leak back in March, it's just 1" Polly well line. It was put in by the previous owner; I had no idea where it ran. Thankfully, there was a curb stop inline to cut off the hydrant, so I had an idea how deep, and guessed a relatively straight line from A to B for...

Will an L3560 w/ BH77 fit in my garage without drama?

Good point Paul! OP, what elevation are you at if you're working hills and or doing snow work, more power, or adding a turbo to the smaller L might be a good choice.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Neighbor had an incident where he went out west for a hunt and came back with a few rattlers to be added into some of his taxidermies....apparently they weren't in the freezer long enough and when he got home there was quite a lot of rattling coming from the bucket...

    BH76 on a B2650

Thanks, @North Idaho Wolfman! I thought I had stumbled upon something similar in my searching. Was curious if I should try and source a subframe for my tractor and run the BH76, or just hope I can make things work enough with the stuff off the B3200.

    BH76 on a B2650

I might have the possibility to acquire a BH76 and the associated subframe off a B3200. Would it fit/work on my B2650? If I needed to drill holes or add a spacer here or there, it's not an issue, just wanted to see if those who know more than me could confirm it's at least feasible, and I'm...

Need advice on gravel driveway repair

Driveway looks good!! Drive on it a while then run the box over it again with the front blade mostly angled up so it's not cutting to let the rear blade kind of flatten out any rough spots.
