Anyone have experience with "North American Implements" grapples?

Do you have a picture of how / where the hydraulic lines are being routed out of your grapple? Mine are coming out of the wrong side so I need to modify things but was thinking maybe to being them out of the middle of the grapple. Thanks!

    Error P0606 - MX4800

I actually answered my own question and figured this out. i followed the instructions here: https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/how-to-reset-error-codes-on-utility-tractor-w-led-displays.43114/ But I didn’t have “B” displayed; I had “A”. I happened to hit the regen button and it...

    Error P0606 - MX4800

I had a leaking battery a few months ago and had to jump the tractor to start it. I have since replaced the battery but ever since jumping it I have been stuck with the P0606 code. I read the procedure in another thread about how to clear it if it is type B but I don’t believe my code is type...

    No, I just don't like a 3/4 pin in a 1" hole

    Grab hook with 1" pin?

I'm having trouble finding a grab hook for my MX4800 draw bar with a 1" pin. I have one with a 3/4" pin but it is driving me nuts being installed in a 1" hole. Anyone here know where I can find a grab hook for the 1" hole? Thanks!

    Common wrench sizes for MX4800?

I'm looking to fill the on-board tool box for my MX4800 with the most common tools that I would need for the machine. Obviously, I can do a lot with a pair of adjustable wrenches but I would also like to include some fixed size wrenches in the box as well. What are the typical wrench sizes...

agrigulture hydraulic disconnect for third funtion?

Grapple side is 1/2 SAE 90-L22. I ordered some flat face connectors with the plan to install them on the tractor side but the thread dia on them are too small to go on to that 13/16”

agrigulture hydraulic disconnect for third funtion?

Dan, the fittings on the tractor side are both female. The thread diameter is quite large; around 13/16”

agrigulture hydraulic disconnect for third funtion?

Thx folks. I’ll probably need to talk to the vendor too, maybe it is easier to have them send me compatible fittings for the grapple and I’ll just punt on future compatibility for future implements.

agrigulture hydraulic disconnect for third funtion?

What size are the pioneer male threads? They are much larger than 1/2 NPT and physically measure 13/16” overall thread diameter.

agrigulture hydraulic disconnect for third funtion?

well, i took delivery of my CID grapple and went to hook it us just to find that my tractor has agricultural hydraulic fittings on the 3rd function and the grapple has skid steer fittings. I'm not sure what other implements I am likely to use that would require the 3rd function so would I be...

    one-row or two-row hiller for MX4800?

I will be using a hiller for the first time this spring on my MX-4800 to prepare several small vegetable gardens. With the size of the tractor and tires a single-row hiller will give me rows spaced approximately 56" on center which seems kind of far for everything except vine type plants. If i...

is a Subsoiler the right tool for this job?

My soil is only about 8”-10” of sandy loam, then clay until you hit rock, 30’ down. I’m not sure I would get any real drainage in my soils

is a Subsoiler the right tool for this job?

The forest is young, last cut maybe 14-years ago but I don't know what that means in terms of root size.

Mine were scuffed up a bit too; I complained and they gave me a discount.

is a Subsoiler the right tool for this job?

I haven’t bought one yet but was going to get one with the shear pin / bolt for sure

is a Subsoiler the right tool for this job?

I am looking to cut tree roots at the edges of my fields and garden to try and keep the trees (mostly pine), from robbing moisture from the grass and vegetables. I have an MX4800 4wd and was thinking that I could use a subsoiler to run around the tree line but wasn't sure if it would actually...

Anyone know of / bought from Catawba Attachments?

I'm going to find out... I will never see the box blade I ordered from EA and came across Catawba Attachments while looking for alternatives. They seem to have a decent reputation on Facebook (I know, maybe not the most reliable) but when I called them I developed a comfort level pretty...
