    Box Blade to Remove Sod

I don't know if the conditions were just right but I had a friend that wanted to make a garden in a area over grown with grass. I took my box blade and made a tic tac toe pattern with the rippers then peeled grass off with front blade. Worked well and the neighbor was very pleased. He said he...

    L3400 crankcase vent

I have the same problem, but I remove the oil filter while the drain plugs are removed and have no problem draining. I felt that the crankcase has to be somewhat sealed to stop dirt and grit from getting in. Tractors are exposed to a lot more pollution than a car. The front axle has oil in...

    MMM gearbox hot to touch

Every time I mow tall grass, I have a problem of grass getting above the stump jumper, wrapping around the transmission shaft and getting into the seal. This can cause oil leakage so I would check oil level if you haven't yet. Does anyone have a solution for keeping tall grass from wrapping...

Brush loosened an oil plug my L2950

Had an oil drain plug come out on me and immediately turned off engine when the light came on. That was about 375 hrs ago and so far no evidence of engine damage. The dealer was last to change the oil in the tractor, 9 months prior, so have not gone back to them since. I change my own oil now...

    Antifreez on Floor

I had a little puddle puddle of antifreeze on the floor of my garage, after about 350 hours, and found that the clamp on the radiator hose was a little loose. Got about half to three quarters of a turn then had no more antifreeze on the floor. Hope yours is that simple. :)

Did the dealer overfill my tires ?

I have checked the fluid level in a tire by thumping it with a metal rod. When the thump changes tone is where the level is. I know a tire dealer that uses this method. :)

    B7100 Front screen (radiator)

I was frustrated with the same problem as the field doesn't have compressed air. I ended up buying a Ego blower from Home Depot. This is a 56 volt battery operated blower and I can take it with me on jobs. Don't have to worry about gas but have to keep battery charged. Works well for me.:)

    WANTED, Input on New Design

I made a mount for 4-23 watt led lights on my ROP. I made them easily removable by mounting a plug with 2 switches so I can light front and/or back. I also use the same power for my 25 gal sprayer for my driveway. I have plenty of light and use about the same power as my tractor headlights...

    Changing L3400 Fuel Filter

When I changed my fuel filter on my l3400 I was surprised that there is a shut off valve on that filter. If the tank fuel level is high the vent line will feed into the fuel filter assembly causing a constant flow into the assembly. I felt that Kubota made the system a lot easier with this...

Cell phone lost in the field

While mowing a field, I suddenly realized I wasn't moving anymore. I was right in the middle of a creek covered by the grass and had 3 axles high centered and my bucket was in soup. 6 hours later when I finally got the tractor on solid ground, I noticed my 2 month old cell phone was missing...
