Could not afford almost $1000 for new parts so decided to go 2WD..I have been using it for about...

Hi Vic, Thanks for the help..Everything on the schematic that goes in the housing is needed.. Dont need anything that comes from the direction of the transmission. I have a ZEN NOH ZB7001..Great little workhorse tractor, but the 4WD locked up..We looked in the front end gear housing and it was in pieces..Was told that B7100 parts fit my tractor and we found used gear parts from supposedly a B7100 4 WD tractor..When the parts arrived, they were too big...

    Damage to my Zen noh

I got the plate holding the PTO seal off & the bearings all look good. the seal has no number that I can find..Somebody told me that if I go to a Kubota dealer & ask for a seal for a Kubota B7100, they would have it & it would fit....Does this sound correct? Is the Kubota B7100 so old a model...

    Damage to my Zen noh

Thanks Vic, What do you suggest I do? I know nothing about repairing it..or really what is wrong with it or the cause of it, other than letting it get low on oil in the gear box..There is no place I know of where I live that will work on it..There is a Kubota dealer here but they have already...

    Damage to my Zen noh

The Traveller Universal Trans/Hydraulic Fluid was purchased at Tractor Supply and has been used in my ZB7001 for as long as I have had it..It is the same kind of Universal Fluid that one of the Kubota mechanics from Orangetractor talks about on a UTube video. I never had a problem with it until...

    Damage to my Zen noh

Correct, it is not a hydro-stat...After letting it sit awhile after filling the gear box I did not have any trouble when the 4 wheel drive is off..I am tempted to try it again in 4wd and see if it will work now but it bwing locked up before, I dont know if that will be wise...I think the first...

Thanks for the info! Would I use the same hydraulic oil in the three reservoirs in the front axle as I used in the gear box? I am using Traveller Universal Trans/Hydraulic Fluid.
