What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Photo of the brackets off the blower. It's not really a dolly, just two brackets. I had about 54" of scrap 1 1/2" by 1/4" thick angle iron. Cut in half and cut each of the four vertical square corners off at a 45. On each of the two 27" angle iron pieces I drilled two castor mounting holes...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Sure thing. I'll post photos next week when the brackets are back from powder coat. It's not really a dolly, just two brackets. I had about 54" of scrap 1 1/2" by 1/4" thick angle iron. Cut in half and cut each of the four vertical square corners off at a 45. On each of the two 27" angle...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Agree, a bit anal. My fun hobby stuff. Generally, if I'm not exhausted I'll cleanup and put stuff away at the end of the day. Five minutes with the leaf blower and hose before backing into the shop keeps it shiny. I built the shop/RV storage a couple of years ago...~1,700 sq ft. 16' tall...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Do you mean the blower with castors off and skid shoes on like this photo? Or, do you mean photo with castors still attached but blower lifted? The brackets are at the powder coat place...I should have them back middle of next week. I'll take other photos then if needed. BTW, I did also...

Your castor adapter is a simple and great idea... I built the same for our snowblower today.

Metal snow blower skid shoes may mark-up the concrete drive and asphalt culdisac. Made some hard plastic (UHMW) skid shoes.

Pros and cons of snow removal options

I will be using our new tractor and front mount snowblower this winter. I have R14 tires and rears are loaded. Pretty flat concrete drive and parking area. Our snow comes in around a foot at a time and usually temps around freezing, so heavy snow is the norm. I'm trying to determine if I...

    Backhoe Owners poll.......

I originally ordered my lx3310 cab with a bh77. As the tractor was being put together the dealer realized a different subframe was needed from what they ordered, due to the cab. And the correct subframe was not readily available. So I ended up taking delivery without the bh77. I was...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

A friend came over with his excavator and log splitter attachment. Split and stacked some and made a good pile...around five to six full cords split.

    Decided on LX3310, but....

We recently purchased a LX3310. Picked it over a LX2610 because of the PTO HP...19 with LX2610 vs 27 with the LX3310. And we did go for the cab for heat while snow blowing. We have a front mid-PTO snow blower (last Feb we had 5' of wet snow fall in 4 days)...PTO HP makes a difference when...

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

Thanks. Seems like a good idea. I may swap over and see how it goes. If needed I'll add a pressure reducer. Being bidirectional, I suspect that only one is needed, and probably does not matter which of the two hoses it goes on.

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

I agree, deflection is the least used. However, there are spots on my property where rotating the shoot and changing the deflection at the same time would be great. Being new to this I'm learning and don't always know what questions to ask. Assumptions sometimes get us in trouble, and I...
