2008 BX 2350 Glow Plugs Indicator Stays on After Starting Engine

If you look at the diagram in the post from Seane1987 you have to go past Glow to get to Start, so no. Kind of like Monopoly. :p

P.S. - no problems with clearance in 3 years, but again, they are turf tires.

    Front chains on a BX?

Pushing heavy snow or plowing on slick surfaces chains are a must for my BX. I've plowed and used the bucket a couple of time so far this year without chains but the snow has been fairly fluffy. The time will come when they have to go on. I use the ladder 2-link heavy duty without v-bars for my...

    B3030 cab headliner removal

Do not push the center all the way through. When installing you push the center in and it spreads the tongs (for lack of a better term) to lock it into place. To remove pry the center back out and it should release the tongs so you can just pull the thing out. A very small flat screw driver...

    B3030 cab headliner removal

Are you talking about retainer clips like these? If so you'll likely need a kit to replace the ones that don't come out easily. Just search Amazon - body panel clips, retainer clips, etc. If not take a picture and post it.

    Original Tractor Cab

Likely a true statement. I think a thief would prefer to use any of the three man-doors on my garage, break a window and open the door. Either way if they want in they're getting in.

    Original Tractor Cab

The highest part of my ROPS is 81.5" The highest part of the cab (front) is 78.25" I have a standard two stall attached garage with concrete floors and standard doors, nothing fancy or added. I drove the tractor with cab so the highest part of the cab was exactly under the lowest part of my...

    Original Tractor Cab

Hey thanks. Today we've have 20 mph winds average with 40 mph gusts. Wind chill temp is about 5F. I'm so happy just keeping the wind off my face that I haven't installed a heater yet. My BX is shaped a bit different, I'll have to check on the fit and see what works. I do have a couple Horror...

True that. Only about 100 hrs. / yr. but she's a working girl for sure.

Before I installed my new Original Tractor Cab (see post with the same title) I thought I'd remove the floor mat and clean it up a bit. I did not imagine I'd find all this dirt under there. Something others may want to check to avoid rot.

Is that duck tape over the air-intake? I need to do something similar. Do you recall the make/model of the heater?

Things to look at when buying used BX?

At $10K you got an awesome deal even if you have to put a couple $$ into it. Download the manual from kubotabooks Change all the fluids and filters so you know it's all good. Add anti-gel to the diesel, it's been pretty cold lately. Edit - make sure you check / torque the lug nuts on all four...

    Gear shift not staying

That 40 year old boot looks pretty dry rotted. Probably got 10 years worth of dust, dirt, and water in there. Take it apart, clean it, lube it up.

Things to look at when buying used BX?

Welcome aboard Hockyman!! I'd worry that regular maintenance hasn't been done. Oil and oil filter, hydraulic fluid and hydraulic fluid filter and gas filters should have been changed due to time - regardless of the hours on the meter. Look for grease around the loader and other point of...
