I can only seem to find 2 part numbers on the internet for the glow plug indicator. L1500/L175 are not listed as compatible. Can anyone tell me what part number should I use? Thanks, John

There seem to be 2 different part numbers. The glow plugs for the L175 are listed to be used in the L1501 but not the L1500. L175/L1501 - 1522165510 sometimes listed also is 1522165512 John

I need the part number for L1500 glow plugs. Any suggestions for parts sites? Don't seem to be able to raise vic and Don't think he has online storefront. Thanks, John

checked plate and it says L1500. Guess the oil filter is older style (uses cartridge in bolt on canister).

Bolt goes into cover then O ring slides onto bolt and rubber washer is next. Beginning to think the spring doesn't belong there. Don't know where it came from.

Wolfman, Between O ring and rubber washer? If so, then someone may have assembled it wrong in the past as the O ring and washer stayed on the bolt when the filter cover was removed. I believe the O ring seals the opening around the bolt hole so should go on first. Then spring, then washer?

The hood says L1500 but the oil filter matches the L1501. Honestly never thought to look at ID plate. Will see what it says. Thanks, John

Thanks for the response. I'm not clear on the location of the spring yet. The spring is the diameter of the bolt holding the canister and about 3/4 of an inch long and will slide onto the bolt freely. Where would it be placed in relation to the rubber washer? The bolt goes into the canister...

I pulled the old filter out and there was a spring in the oil catch pan. Doesn't make sense to me for the spring to be on top of the filter between the small seal gasket and the cartridge. Does anyone have a diagram of how the filter assembles (exploded view), that shows the order of assembly...

I am going to do a rebuild on my steering box on my L1500. Any gotchas on removing the fuel tank? That part doesn't seem to be covered in the repair video. Thanks, John

I have an L1500 (L175) with a sticky brake. I can push it in but have to pull it out. Takes quite a bit of pressure to pull it. Spring is good and all rod pivot points are well lubricated. Will have to remove cover to look inside of brakes on the left side. The question is, does anyone have...

Gurn, thanks. I have a parts manual and it didn't get too detailed. Vic, Thanks for the diagram. I notice there are 3 fuses shown. My L1500 has only 2 fuses. It that a minor difference in the models? I'll have to trace it out and see what's what. John
