I had to cut the joystick cables on an LA723 to get them off the loader. I installed the new cables that run from the joystick to the loaders hydraulic control valve. There is to much play/slop in the joystick now. I can't figure out how to adjust the cable length without just trial and error...

I just replaced the 2 cables that run from the joystick to the hydraulic valve on our LA723 loader attached to an L3430 HST tractor with cab. How do I adjust the cables properly? There is some slop in the joystick in all directions? I had to cut both cables to remove due to there condition...
