WoodMaxx MX-8500G+ PTO Chipper review - it's great w/o power feed.

I'm thinking about ordering a MX 8500 G+ but wondered how did the shipping work for everyone. I can have it shipped to the farm, but that's on a deadend gravel road and after reading the "free shipping" details its sounds like that might not work. My other options are to ship it to my house...

    Skid Shoes

So I ended up buying a rear blade to use for snow removal on a gravel driveway. With not skid shoes on there will I just end up tearing up the gravel? Are these a must have? Thanks

    Snow Removal

Yeah that's a little more than I wanted to spend. Kind of the other reason I'm willing to try a rear blade.

    Snow Removal

Meant to say thanks to everyone who responded here. All good info. I think for now I'm going to try and go the rear blade route and see how that does this winter.

    Snow Removal

OK so I recently bought a MX5400 and I'm debating whether to try and use it to plow/remove snow from my gravel driveway at my farm. I don't need it to be perfect, I just want access to the building and property. I would say it's around 300-400 feet long. Is this even a good idea?? If so what...

    Disc harrows

Thanks bird dogger that picture of your mower belt is ingrained in my head. I do plan on mowing it down first so it's good to know that a tiller will take care of it from there. I was still afraid that even small chunks of corn stalk would clog that up.

    Disc harrows

I like the idea of a tiller for use on my food plots (.5-1.5 acres) but I wonder if I plant corn will that tiller go through what's left the following season when I want to replant? Is a disc better in that situation? What do others do there?

    Top N Tilt

Man I'm an idiot....I get it, so one for the top and one for the side. I'll be honest I completely forgot about the side movement which I think is why I was confused. Thanks

    Top N Tilt

How many rear remotes do you need to run a Top N Tilt? I saw something that said 1 but then saw a post somewhere (of course I couldn't find it again) where it said you needed 2.

    MX Series rear remotes

Funny enough that's the one thing I need to make sure happens. When I thought I had it in the "original order" I had chosen 3. I have since straightened it out with the sales person who said they would install if for me at the dealership but I'm not sure if that was for 1, 2, or 3.

    MX Series rear remotes

Thank you for the answer . Also thank you for the float explanation. I had heard of that but didn't realize what it was. I should have guessed it by the name "float".

    MX Series rear remotes

Question regarding rear remotes. I'm new to tractors so bare with me. I recently ordered a MX5400 and wanted to get rear remotes (3rd Position Value Kit as it's listed on the "build my tractor"). Long story but that part didn't get into the order from the factory but my dealer said they would...

Build My Kubota - Mounting Base with Valve Kits - MX5400 - Question please help????

On to Quick-Hitches....so the MX5400 is CAT 1 & CAT 2. If I buy a quick hitch CAT 2 will that work with CAT 1 attachments/implements?

Build My Kubota - Mounting Base with Valve Kits - MX5400 - Question please help????

OK my thought was exactly what you said. Most of my "roads" and the gravel driveway are already established so it's really maintenance.

    Price Increase

I can't find it again but did I see somewhere that starting April 1st Kubota was implementing another price increase?
