    Tractor washing.

Thanks....I think I have come to that same conclusion even with the so called "balanced foam wash agent." If it's just dusty works great, if it's dirty nothing beats the rag and brush.

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

It was a good and informative thread for a nut like me.... I've learned over the years, most people's line of thought is correct and some can articulate their thoughts better than others. That's why I don't chime in too many times, maybe just to ask a question, I find it difficult to convey my...

Will the wash & wax work in a foam cannon?

I get bored easily.....Then the drinks start flowing....Then I say, hold my drink, and watch this.....

I did the same with my trailer that has treated lumber decking. Worked great and despite my concerns it did not drip, become slippery or leave residue on clothes when I sit on it. It was absorbed into the wood and it's been over a year and still looks great. I'm thinking next year I'll...

    PTO Link

I have gone to a different brand. Nothing wrong with the PTO Link it is much easier than the industry standard that has been around for years. However, at my age, with aches and pains, I was still struggling to easily connect the PTO to my different implements. I'm now using the model M100...

No sh*t I do put tire shine (cheapest thing available) on mine after washing...helps keep the mud from hanging on.

    Tractor washing.

Sounds like a good plan to me! Good luck. I use a foam cannon and a brush on an extendible pole. Never waxed it, too lazy I suppose. Let us know how it goes, maybe I can find a young fellow (don't mean only a male I seen plenty of young ladies out work the fellas) in the neighborhood that...

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

The reason for the adjustable wheel width on row crop tractors like the 9N-2N-8N was to accommodate row width. The same reason row crop tractors of all sizes today are adjustable. I guess I go back to "does 4" of additional width really provide a noticable amount of stability?"

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

Good feedback and valuable point of view. I do agree, every little bit will help, difficult for me to justify the cost of the 2" spacer to gain 4" overall width. Not to mention the potential cost of repairs with the added axle stress. I too will have to pass on the challenges...already have...

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

I think there is something I don't understand about the wheel spacer approach. I see suggestions to add 2" spacers, does that equate to widening the tire profile by 4" overall? If that's the case does 4" really make a difference (OK I know I'm setting my self up for the humor crowd)? I'm...

    4X4 Indicator

I'm not up on digital dash and the wiring aspects so this comment may be way off base. I think you have a good idea for a audible alarm. Seems to me if you could find the indicator switch and add a signal wire to a buzzer/alarm it could work.
