Just to add to the collection. I added a 5.56 ammo can (I'm on a BX23S) to the inside of ROPs in existing holes. Turned down some aluminum spacers & bolted straight through. A bit flexible as the smaller cans don't have beads rolled into the side so may add a plate to the inside.

You can always augment your berms with RR ties. Unless you've got larger dia. belt feds they'll last many years.

I prefer them on all MHE. This is what I have done for several forklifts & tractors. Modified billiard ball to accept shoulder bolt & machined a clamp to fit my BX wheel. Works great.

This is what I did for my BX. Also gives me a better tie down point in the loop underneath.

I have the same issue. Already looking at ramping mods with spring assist to keep from having to stow ramps.

I gotta concur with BigG. As a former military truck master I would have a field day with those using straps on rolling stock. OK to use on implements to further minimize movement but, only if the strap has a guard for edge protection. Getting ready to pick up my first personally owned...
