Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

The bottom line may be close enough. Your idea of cutting it there has some merit, I have been putting off tearing it out because it still works with some small ozone holes behind me. The NOS evaporator that I have has the possibility of welding the pipe from the old on and I might have a guy...

    Ram Ecodiesel Oil change question

Put a window air conditioner in and run it on a generator or have the ball parks provide you with an outlet. One example.

With this van many parts are wrong in the catalogs of parts houses, been that way from new. One example is rear brake cylinders where everyone wants to sell me 15/16" when it had 1-1/16", that are all singing from the same hymnal. The first photo has the tube bending back as you say and would...

I can buy a crimper on eBay for a reasonable price, I just need to find an evaporator and the proper fittings to make it work. A big part of the issue it the very short distance to cram fittings and hose. We can't seem to get good honest A/C shop in this area. The original part number from...

Note that the big tube curls back towards the core and mine angles away from it. Perhaps the tube could be cut after the second bend and a hose attached but that is only a wild guess.

Yes, front and rear. I need the front and have searched everywhere, some say they have it but it doesn’t fit.. I did find NOS on Germany eBay but someone beat me to it. What parts houses want to sell: What I need, note the pipe to the accumulator. Here is the new old stock that I missed:

    Lose bolts The bolts

Why were the bolts replaced? Were they the same as original? Did you use a torque wrench to tighten them to specification?

Since we have an A/C doctor in the house, I would like to pick your brain on replacing an obsolete evaporator on an old 1979 Chevy G20 van. I need to find someone that can weld a pipe on a new one or come up with a solution. Of course I am off topic and we can take to messaging if you might be...

I have had better days! But still like keeping the old ones on the road.

Possible that it was the hose that was replaced, there is a lot of junk replacement parts from China being sold today.

Necessary to Clean Mower Deck After Every Session?

I have a Country Clipper zero turn that has an onboard jack so the deck can be raised to a vertical position. One of the main reasons for buying it is so I can clean the deck after every 3 hour mowing. I have mowed when the grass is as wet as possible and dry as can be and I get 3 to 5 gallons...

    What’s with all the SPAM?

I suppose you meant a different word, but I got a chuckle out of thinking the spammers are about the same as the stuff that settles to the bottom of the bowl. :poop:

    What’s with all the SPAM?

A favorite in PA Dutch country is green beans, potatoes and ham, we tried it with Spam instead of real meat and was rather good. Photo below is ham:

    What’s with all the SPAM?

Now about the spammers on here, many of us have backhoes that could be put to a good use.

    What’s with all the SPAM?

The Army used a lot of Spam during WW2, my dad said it was known as ham that didn't pass inspection.

Are all pallet forks created equal?

A receiver for a hitch ball mount might be useful if you have trailers.

Seeing is believing, is no longer true.

Too bad the public can't understand this AIBS as well as those commenting here. After being thru the Y2K, global warming, Covid and numerous other scams one would think the vast majority might turn their backs on this steady diet of BS instead of just swallowing it.

    Work lights

My B2601 has wiring under the right taillight marked with blue tape. It is powered by a 10A fuse in the fuse block. I used it to power a lightbar and two flood lights.
