How do I get work done on my tractor, been black listed!?

At this point, since your warranty expired after the first dealer started working on the tractor, I think you have three options. 1) Try to work with Kubota to get them to help solve the problem. I don't know what the options will be, but most likely they will require dealer number one to do the...

How do I get work done on my tractor, been black listed!?

Regardless of whether or not you are a 'difficult' customer, and regardless of how the damage was done, the shop should never perform any work that they plan to charge you for without your permission in advance.

How do I get work done on my tractor, been black listed!?

When you say 'insurance' are you talking about KTAC? I would contact Kubota and let them know the entire story.

    Crazy People

It surprises me what some people will pay for something that I think is junk, but there have been a few times when I wanted something that was not available new and I paid the price.

Brand new implement rust and bent

OK, that section of grapple could now be out of square, or possibly a bearing/bushing cracked, or a weld cracked. My thought is that the tine was not bend during normal use, so the grapple was possibly dropped off a fork lift or hit hard by a machine while in storage, or something else that we...

Brand new implement rust and bent

My concern would not be about a single bent tine, but about what else may have been damaged when that tine was bent. There may be damage that will show up in the future.

Brand new implement rust and bent

I would ask the dealer to replace the entire grapple with another one if one is available. Since it is discontinued then you don't have access to a factory fresh one. It seems obvious that the damage occurred in the dealer's yard or in shipping, and the factory is not likely to warranty it...

    Everything Attachments - Bankrupt?

Although mismanagement seems the most likely reason for a company which makes quality products and has a good reputation among it's customers to fail, it really doesn't matter what caused it. The bottom line is that anyone who has sent them money should use whatever recourse is available to get...

Even under those circumstances there is no excuse for the idiots to let it run that long before hitting the stop button.

    Kubota Slapped With 11M Fine

A large part of the problem is that the people on the jury often think that no one is hurt when they award a large settlement on someone who is injured because it is paid by a 'heartless' large corporation or the corporation's insurance provider. It doesn't matter if there was actually any flaw...

lx2610 recommended Accessories & Brush guard and Chainsaw holder

Have you considered a grapple? I have one for my LX2610 and it is my most used implement. It is especially handy for moving downed trees and clearing brush.

Do you buy yourself a Christmas present!

I always take advantage of the 'sale' prices around Christmas time to buy things for myself. I usually have a list in mind of things that I want during the year, but don't need them right away, so I buy them in December if the price is right.

A short story about what happens when you're drinking on Black Friday.............One man, his Kubota, and a lever

I don't remember for sure, but I think it was schedule 40. You might get more strength out of a smaller diameter pipe like 1/2 inch, but I used 3/4 because I had to traverse a door threshold. I did not notice any cracking or out-of-round conditions on the PVC.

A short story about what happens when you're drinking on Black Friday.............One man, his Kubota, and a lever

I have what looks like the same safe, or maybe a little bigger, that I won in a raffle. When I brought it home I was able to get it off of the trailer and onto my porch with a block and tackle. Once I got it upright and stable I used what I call the Egyptian method to move it into the house and...

Need legal advice on how to sue Tractor Supply for "predatory advertising"

Be forewarned, I bought myself a minibike much like that one when I was 12. It started a lifelong motorcycle habit. ;) FWIW, I earned that money delivering newspapers and mowing lawns. I don't think youngsters have that opportunity these days even if they are motivated because adults deliver...

Knowing what you know now, would you buy the same tractor again?

Another happy LX2610 owner here. I bought the SU to save a few bucks, and I don't regret that, though the difference is price is not that much. I also bought a BH77 backhoe, loader and bucket, Land Pride third function, Land Pride grapple and Land Pride snow plow all at the same time for the...

Need a backhoe - add one to my b2910 or get a dedicated TLB (B21)

Other than digging out some stumps, it sounds like most of your work is trenching. A mini Ex will do that a lot faster and easier than a backhoe. The down side is that the mini-ex tracks will tear up your yard. I have seen some very old excavators with wheels, but I don't know if they still exist.

    Another use for the grapple?

I use my grapple to loosen the top layer of soil when I need to level a section and to pull out big weeds and small trees for clearing. My grapple is a sturdy root grapple (Land Pride SGC1060) and these are some of the reasons I bought it. I pull with the bottom tines for the heavy work and then...
