I have a bx 2230 and had someone put a tire on a new wheel and realized when I got it home, it's backwards. Arrow facing the wrong way. Is it really a big deal or should I have it corrected?

Great thanks guys! Yea if I'm going up hill or cutting long grass I'll throw it in low. More use high on level areas and pastures. And yea, putting it in L and mowing all my acreage would stink bc its alot of area and not fast at all.

Just hit me yesterday if I'm harming anything. I have a bx2230 and some areas I like to cut in high gear and some in low gear. Is it too much strain on the hst or motor to cut in high gear? Seems ok by how it cuts and sounds but just making sure.

I did a fresh fluid change in my bx2230. When I put new sudt2 in, I noticed it's over top fill line on district. Should I drain some out or will it be ok to overfill a bit. It can't be that much more bc I was trying to be careful and check while filling.

Yes, I feel much better I did. And I don't think it's the first service. It has 880 hrs but wasn't really taken care of too well. I noticed when I put fluid back in, it was a but over dip stick but didn't think I put much over in it. Does it matter if it's a bit over filled? Figured it may go...

Thanks guys, I decided I can't in good conscience just let it go so I drained it all back out, filtered the oil before putting it back in and boy......glad I did! Strainer was riddled with shavings! Thanks for the info.

If I'm just sitting facing forward or cutting Its hard to hear but as soon as I turn ear facing the back it's very noticeable

Ok and I did hear about the rops but Mt concern is that's it's just always there, same pitch, same noise. It doesn't matter if I'm just sitting or open throttle or cutting, its just there. Ok I'll try changing filter and fluid. I'm not sure because the previous owner had it for a couple years...
