My L3430 takes a serious push to get it to snap into float, and I believe it is getting even harder. Compared to my green 870 it takes about 4-5 times pressure, or more. Is there any adjustment? Thanks Loader ----LA723

Today my 3430 started "yelping" every 15-20 seconds or so, I opened the hood and saw where it was coming from. The AC was on low and it looks like to me that the compressor was binding up for about one second causing the belt to yelp. I only watched it do it twice before turning the AC off...

Ever since one of my customers went out of business, a lumber mill/lumber yard, I have trouble finding enough kindling, as I start my stove(s), every day. I read, like everything, most firestarters are junk. Does anyone use these for starting stoves? What brands? Thanks!

Thanks for the ideas. I cannot use the one sold at TSC, my lift arms do not have a unused spot until about 16 inched closer to the transaxle. Found one that would work, I think, at stevestractors.

I need one. I've been searching the web, but have not seen any unit that would work with my lift arms, because of the adjustment parts are in the way. I have seen a homemade " shoe" that "locks" the drawbar to the lift arm between the two at one of the pin ends. I could probably weld one up, but...
