In case anyone comes across this thread, I used a 12v oil transfer pump. Measured hose off of dipstick , inserted into same hole as dipstick and drained it down to correct level. I’m sure it would probably overflow out vent but why second guess the kubota engineers? Dealer had overfilled...

Hello, the manual states to use “Shell Gadus S5 V100 or equivalent” the issue is that it looks like it might have been discontinued. You can find it shipping from Europe. So what is equivalent? Anyone have a suggestion? Here is the data sheet from shell.

I’m a new LX 3310 Cab owner. I was reading my manual and saw this note about not having ballast with either a backhoe or with the loader on cab models. My dealer recommended and installed Rim guard. Any idea why this is in our manual?

Can someone explain why the manual states that if there is a FEL installed with a CAB that there should be no liquid ballast? my dealer recommended and has already installed it. I’m going to ask them but I wanted to ask here too

Can you show a photo of how the hoses are routed on yours? Do they more follow the arms of the loader? Most every photo I’ve seen has the manifold on it.
