    Ordered an L2501 today

You guess about right. I'd never get a Kubota and not get KTAC. Someone I know bought an M, tried to take it to another friends. "Forgot" to chain it to the trailer, and it flipped off the trailer into a ditch. Kubota delivered him a new one 3 weeks later. Yes, he is a dumbass.

    Ordered an L2501 today

So I am finally ready for my 2nd ever tractor. Sold my BX2680 when I moved to TX, and ordered an L2501 HST, SSQA, bucket and SSQA bale spear, and KTAC. Was $28.4K. Kubota still offering 0% financing. Daggum price of everything is through the roof.

    Considering my 2nd Kubota purchase

I misrepresented the base price. What I posted was the price with everything but tax versus the base price of the tractor/loader/bucket. The base price of the tractor with the loader and bucket is $ 23,846. The other 5K ish is the third function, hydraulic SSQA auger and 9 inch bit, and the...

    Considering my 2nd Kubota purchase

Thanks Dave. Without the auger and 3rd function, I'd be at about $23,400 before tax and warranty. Doesn't seem too awful.

    Considering my 2nd Kubota purchase

I stopped by Zimmerer in Denton TX to find out what an L2501 is going for these days. I had it priced out with SSQA, bucket, Third Function installed, SA10 with 9 inch auger, Turf tires, and 2 year extended warranty. $28, 518.00 base price $32,761.62 tax, fire, theft, vandalism, delivered...

    Buying another soon

Thanks for everyone's responses. I have 1.08 acres, and will need to move hay from the street into the pasture. I will not be helping any neighbors, and since I am in a residential neighborhood, nobody around here has a tractor. I moved round bales (600 pounds maybe) in VA with a BX 2680. It...

    Buying another soon

So I have moved to Denton, TX, and I'm closing on a house tomorrow. My wife wants me to replace the BX2680 I sold before I moved here, with something that can move a round bale. L series? Don't want to mess with DEF, but buying new. Please give me your recommendations.

I am not going to separate it. If it doesn't sell as a package I'll store it until I can move it to Texas.

63.0. I was able to get some pictures and delay my start work time today. These pics were taken today. I also forgot I have a leaf rake for it as well, and a Pirahhna toothbar.

    BX2680 needs a new home

I will do that this weekend probably. I don't have pictures of it's current configuration, and am working a crazy schedule at work right now, so it will be dark anytime I'm home to take any pictures.

    BX2680 needs a new home

When I was stuck working from home for a long time, I went crazy and bought a lot of toys. Now I need to move for a job, and I don't want to move everything. On April 29, I got a BX2680 I need to get $16K out of it. It's currently financed by Kubota. I just decided to sell it 4 minutes ago, so...

Some of us are irregular as well. I often type out a knee jerk reaction post. Here, and at work. The back space key has kept me employed and un-banned so far. My boss will come out of her office and check on me if she hears what she refers to as "angry typing"

Warranty repair at dealer where you did not purchase the tractor.

There is no circumstance, no matter how inconvenient to myself, that I would spend my money at this establishment if this is the answer I got. Warranty work is work, and Kubota pays the dealers to do it, they aren't eating any of that cost.

    BX2680 50 hour service challenges

They did drop easily, it was just that they didn't drop far enough. I think I had it set to the lowest setting, but the deck was still about 1/2 lower, so I had to pick up each side. I think if I pin the casters on the top holes, I'd have enough height, and I'll make sure about the adjusting...

    BX2680 50 hour service challenges

I may try this next time I pull the deck off to clean it. There were pine cones, dirt, leaves, and branches stuck under the gearbox. I actually had to lift each side of the deck to hook the rear linkage back up, I may drop the gauge wheels so it holds the deck higher next time.

    BX2680 50 hour service challenges

I'm a bit over 47 hours, and didn't want to wait, so off I went to do the 50 hour service. I think I spent about $150 on filters and S-UDT. First challenge. The "specialist" at my dealer wouldn't accept that my owner's manual says change transmission fluid at 50 hours. So I ordered Super UDT...
