Need to split it off, it's stuck on good. Man I feel like a rookie mechanic...lol Tried using a small chisel to get it started opening....tried carefully tapping on the 2 studs to loosen it up....must be the gasket is holding on tight.

Ok, got the steering disconnected and removed the bolts holding the bevel unit to the diff tube. According to the pics I have seen, shouldn't the bevel unit simply slide away from the diff tube? Trying not to break anything....

I'm not seeing how to get the hub 180 out to be able to remove the cover between 210 and 200. I appreciate the guidance. I sure was hoping to avoid taking that baby apart....lol. I better clear off my messy workbench and rip into it. Any other things I should watch out for, please let me know.

Right. Pretty sure I have the tools...years back was a certified mechanic....but it's the proper diagram portion I'm trying to secure. That and any type of hidden techniques or 'don't do's'.. ..so I don't make a bad situation worse.

You can see where the lube came out of. My manual, although a bit different, does not show a closeup other than showing what appears to be a king pin assy. Imho, this looks like a 2wd front, not like my 4wd front.
