    Help with hydraulic top link

A top link with a check valve will stop this. I have one and it works amazing.

    Cosmo tiller

I purchased a 72" cosmo about 3 years ago. I run it on my l4760hstc It has been great. I think it is better built than a lot of others. Very heavy steel, orange matches pretty good, and it fits an i-match and land pride quick hitch. I had a tractor supply 60" and it was not near the quality.

    L6060 steering binding

Mine has been great. I have mowed about 30 acres 3 times and never had a steering problem again. I mow with a John Deere 390 flail mower. I have not noticed any thing negative by doing this. Lift capacity seems to be the same with loader and 3 point hitch-speed seems to be the same and still...

L4060 - Recommendation for rear grass - brush cutter

A flail mower will do wonders if you can find a used one in your area. They lay all the cut material down spread out directly behind cutter. I have a flail mower and a rotary cutter. I never use the rotary cutter anymore.

L4060 - Pump Cavitates Occasionally??? Everything stops working.

Have you found a solution yet? How many hours on this machine? Sounds like you are getting air in form somewhere. You can look at the fix that I posted like lugbolt suggested but your issues sound a little different than mine where. After running the tractor for 2-3 hours running pto mowing...

    Tractor seats

No I have not. Thanks for the information I will try it. The original seat I had to flip the seat up and pull up on a lever under the seat to keep it on and that isn't on the new air ride seat.

    Tractor seats

I have the grammar air ride in grand l4760 hstc with the fore/aft kit. The part number is MSG75G/531 for the seat. You need to order it form a kubota dealer to get it with the riser that is required under the seat. You lose the swivel feature and if you want to run the pto without being in...

    RTV-X1100C Floor Mat Recall

I didn’t have it done. I looked up what they where going to do and never brought it to my dealer. I will keep an eye on mine and if I ever see problem then I will trim it myself. They will only replace the entire rubber matt if it is all coming up. Mine looks like new and it is a 2015. I think...

I had the grand l3940 before trading for l4760. The problem is more than likely the glow plug relay. It was built with a relay that couldn't handle the amp draw of the glow plugs. Their is an updated heavier glow plug relay to put on it. The relay is under the steering console cover. A few...

LX2610 Manual Says No Tire Fluid When Operating the Loader

I can understand that they say to remove liquid ballast with backhoe installed. I can not understand why they say to remove liquid ballast with a cab. I have a cab tractor and have always had liquid ballast in rear only. The cab does not add very much additional weight. I can not imagine not...

Which tractor should I wait 10 months for?

I have a L4760hstc cab tractor. It is more than capable of your needs, although you can never have too mush horse power. If funds are capable go with the l6060hstc cab. Coming from an L3540hstc I would not recommend the L3560, not enough horse power for the size of the tractor. The L4060...

Wood Splitter: Self-contained vs Tractor Powered?

I personally like my 3 point rear remote powered log splitter. I can run my l4760 at 1000 rpm and it is plenty fast and powerful. I don't have to maintain another engine. I split about 5 ricks a year. If I was selling wood I would want a self contained unit.

    L6060 steering binding

Fig no G110xx is the steering controller. It is located under front of tractor between frame, has 4 lines connected to it. One comes from the pump output 2 go the the steering ram that moves the wheels left or right. Then a 4rth is a return line. In the 1rst image, take small short line 010...

Temporary power steering loss on nearly new L4060

Please search L6060 steering loss and read through all of that. The correct fix as far as I can tell has details on the best way to fix this. The way I had it before is not the best way to do this after talking in the forum with 2 others. I also posted some images of it.

    L6060 steering binding

UPDATE! I have ran the tractor for several hours this way and all seems to be great. I also added a small second steering cooler in line on the return to the tractor case. I also moved the fuel cooler up out of in front of the hydraulic cooler for easier cleaning. The first image is the...

    Fuel gauge

They should have tested the resistance to the cluster feed from sending unit and knew it didn't need a cluster. They could easily pull sending unit and do a sweep of it and showed gauge, wires and cluster is good. It has to be that the 2 tanks are not equalizing. Fuel from right tank is all...

    L6060 steering binding

I removed the hydraulic line from the right side of the oil cooler(siting on tractor your right hand is the right side). This is the line that goes to the T, I caped it then connected a 5/8" ID line to the oil cooler then ran that line to rear case breather and fluid fill. This line does have...

    L6060 steering binding

I will do that tomorrow. I can also find out by doing it this way if the transmission return is pressurized like Ruger says it is. I will be able to watch the flow coming from it the see what it looks like. At least this will separate the 2 returns again. Cooled fluid will be dropped in tank...

    L6060 steering binding

Not good news. I took the time today to get a 10' 3/8 ID hose to run the return oil outlet of the steering controller to the cap on the tank(oil fill port with vent). I capped off the line that tees to the steering controller return. I put return line back on pump the way it came from factory...
