    Clutch slips in high range but not in low range

    Thank you everyone for all your replies. I was told this thing had a wet clutch but it looks like it don't. I will check and set the free play and see if that does it any good. If it don't then it looks like I will have to split it and put a new clutch in it. Thanks again for all the replies.

    Thank you Sidecarflip and eserv. I will look into that and see what I can come up with. Does the mechanical shuttle have a wet clutch like the hydraulic shuttle or is it a dry clutch? I thought both of them were wet. Thank you.

    I have a Kubota M5700 utility special cab tractor with front end loader. It has the mechanical shuttle shift. When you are in high range and climb about any grade the clutch will start slipping but if you put it in low range it does fine. It was loaned out and came back this way. As soon as I...
