    5 Acres: LX2620 vs LX3520

Are there round bales in your future? If so you will need/want a heavier tractor.

    Telescoping lift arms

Looked at my original order sheet and all it says is R-4 telescoping 3 point. You could try calling Riddle Tractor in Winston-Salem NC 336-767-2001 I dealt with Mr. Riddle himself, Maybe he can help you. BTW I bought my tractor on 11/6/19.

    L-47 vs L4060

I'm sure if I bought a M62 initially I would be happy with it. It's just not worth me making a change at this time. If I were younger and in better health and really needed a bigger backhoe I'd sell the L47 and buy a used full size machine and a 40hp or so tractor to do my 3ph stuff with. Well...

    L-47 vs L4060

My feelings exactly! I once had a Ford 655a, which was a great machine. After I finished the job I bought it for I sold it. I just couldn't justify a machine that big. I actually bought the L47 as a tractor loader w/ 3PH and PTO which is all I really needed. I added the backhoe later as a want...

    BT1000 Backhoe

I believe the OP has a tractor from Kubota's commercial line that doesn't utilize a 3 pt hitch backhoe. I would think that a Kubota dealer should be able to answer his question. Looking at Tractor data, I think a L39 uses a BT1000 and a L45 uses a BT1000a. My L47 has a BT1000b backhoe. Maybe...

What type of 3 point hitch is compatible with an M62 (cat 1 or 2)

The optional 3 pt for my L47 that Kubota offers had turn buckle stabilizers and standard lift arms. My dealer was able to fix me up with a set of telescopic stabilizers and extendable lower lift arms, I'm guessing from a GL. I also have a hydraulic top link. I cost a little more money, but hook...

    L47 TLB Skid Plate Options

I don't think Kubota ever intended the L47 to be driven on anything but pavement. I ran a bush hog through the back of my property and just about ripped out some wires. Good thing I was careful :eek:

    Snowplow hydraulics hook up

I don't know if it's proper, but here is a Curtis, with single acting pistons as supplied from the factory.

Need a backhoe - add one to my b2910 or get a dedicated TLB (B21)

My only regret in buying my L47 was not spending the additional $10k (at the time) and getting the M62. The additional reach would be nice. Several years ago I had a Ford 655a which was overkill for my use.

Need a backhoe - add one to my b2910 or get a dedicated TLB (B21)

Take a look at the subframe on the Kubota TLB's and compare it to a backhoe attachment subframe. You get bigger/more hydraulic pumps, a much stronger/faster loader etc. with a TLB. The TLB line is made for digging unlike an ag tractor with an adapted backhoe. Don't forget the loader will still...

    Kubota RTV900 issues

Just curious. What year is your RTV 900? Mine is a 07 and it uses a solenoid to shut it down.

Which Root rake grapples are the toughest?

    WTB 3-point linkage for a L48

When I bought my L47 from Riddle tractor in NC, I wanted telescoping sway bars and extendable lower links. Even though none are listed for the L47, they were able to supply me with a set. ( I think mine came from a Grand L.) I suspect that there's a similar set for the L48. You need a...

    RTV 900 dump box

Just a SWAG, I would think that the tank should be vented, if not it could become pressurized.

    L47TLB I just bought

I think the ear may be a carryover from the brake pedals being located on the right side on some models. I was going to cut it off, but since it doesn't interfere with operation I let it be.

    L47TLB I just bought

How to clean out a culvert

Last fall I cleaned out my driveway culvert. I started by pushing 2 1/2 lengths of 1/2 inch EMT through, followed by rope , followed by chain. I made up a scraper from a harrow disk and a piece of pipe. It didn't really work that well. I think the rubber tire trick is a much better idea. Next...

What year used kubotas meet these requirements?

For me any TLB that would be less capable than my L47 would be a waste of time. Not that I'm a fan of emissions or computers but I like the six speed hydro that comes on the L47. I had a GST once, didn't like it. As far as I know, you can't get that Hydro transmission without the electronic...
