I was 17. I graduated high school in May and got on a bus headed for boot camp in June, never to live at home again. Not bragging nor complaining....just the way it was.

We are all speaking the same language here and the interpretation is the same. Sadly or gladly, even the same mold casts a different individual each time. Same parents, same upbringing, and completely different offspring. Even my personal family has not escaped heartache and tragedy.

My old fat fingers have trouble with these screen keyboards so...... I am getting a new phone that I can operate.

Yes Sir, Crawfish are a wonderful seasonal delight but usually quite expensive. A 30 pound sack of cooked Crawfish would be $200 and they would hardly cover the bottom of a 150 quart cooler. Just guessing but I could see where that cooler could easily be $1k.

I did think about you and wished that you were there. This is an annual event that takes place every April. These were seasoned perfectly and were probably the best that I have ever eaten.

OK, Saturday is here and here it is: Three 150 quart coolers of Boiled Crawfish. Two coolers of Corn. Two coolers of Red and White Potatoes. Three trays of different Sausages. Garlic. Wife and Son digging into their first flats of Crawfish. I ate three flats before Banana Puddin and Egg...

They have 4 dining rooms and tables. Two were in operation at today's lunchtime. It is quite a neat operation giving the diners a choice of 4 different meats, too many veggies to count, 4 desserts, plus the breads. There is no ordering anything nor limit as to how much you eat. $18 per...

Not our cooking but today we had lunch at the Round Table. I don't know how common this is in other areas but it is the "old time" "boarding house" way of eating here. Take a dish, serve yourself and place it back on the center turntable. The table almost ready for the next group.
