Has anyone had any experience with the Ryobi 18V grease gun from the Home Depot? I know it is probably not as good quality as the Lincolns or the other high end brands, but I have several batteries and chargers for the Ryobi that I use for other tools.

Kubota list price is $651 for the 16" and $493 for the 12" bucket for the BH77 (probably fits other BH).

Another vote for the 16" bucket (and mech thumb) on a B2650. I was also debating between the 12" and 16" bucket because my land is very rocky. The local dealer didn't hesitate to recommend the 16", and he had both and no cost difference to me. I didn't have any trouble digging through the soil...

I get a small puff of black smoke every time I start my B2650, only 6 hours on it. I also try to keep it running rather than frequent starting.

After the replies to my original post, I filled the transmission oil to the top of the level on the dip stick. Finally had a chance to do a little backhoe digging yesterday and then moved some firewood logs and cleaned up the firewood splitting area today. Checked the oil level after that, and...

Thanks for all the input - all makes sense. Now I think I just have to put some grease on the linkage for the left lever, since it doesn't return to the "neutral" position by itself. I saw a post about that also showing the BH77 control linkages that needed tightening.

I'm a newbie new B2650 owner with a BH77 backhoe. Only 5 hours so far. Trying to get the hang of smooth backhoe digging - raising the boom while pulling back the dipper to keep the bucket moving kind of level with the ground. What I am finding is - when I move both levers all the way forward...

Backhoe is always in the transport position both when filling/setting and checking the level later. The loader is down.
