Hey all, sorry that I haven't been back here to reply to any of your suggestions. Just had a very good friend pass away, and the weather has really warmed up (+5C), with rain. The need to work on getting the tractor going is not high on the priority list at the moment. Thank you for all the...

Pretty sure they are factory cables, but will check. Will clean the contacts though. Don't believe it's a cable connection because the glow plug works, the lights are bright. (I was wondering about the fusible link though as a possibility). It's really warmed up (+4-5C / 34-5F) for the next...

Thanx, as someone else suggested I'll check the clutch safety interlock, clean a few contacts. Then will try to Thanx. Am going to check the clutch safety first if I can, clean a few contacts to the starter bendix. Last resort I will jump the starter. Will post any results.

Yes, zero spin. Will check the clutch switch if I can. Then will try the bypass suggestion if I can turn it over by jumping the starter. Again, it's not mine, so don't want to damage anything. Will report back with results.

The fuel was on The starter did not spin (did nothing, with clutch fully depressed). Am guessing it ran earlier this year as I believe the owner used it this summer. Tractor was inside a closed unheated shop. Gelling shouldn't have been an issue, as my old Massey started and I plowed my...

Hi all, The history: My neighbor, in her late 70's, got a dump of snow. There is a B7200 her friend leaves on her property to use, in an unheated shop. Went over to plow her out as I had last winter. Not mine, called the owner for permission, checked oil, hydraulic and fuel levels. Battery had a...

    B6200E not starting

Hi all, Well, got her started. I drained the fuel tank today, and checked the inside of the tank. The fuel "looked" like regular diesel. The tank appeared shiny inside. Wiped along the bottom with a clean metal rod and a rag, there wasn't any slime on it. Pulled the fuel filter again, the fuel...

Hi all, thanx for all the suggestions. Yes, water is a possibility, as is algae. I've read on another site that I should drain the fuel tank, clean it, and put new fuel in it. (The fuel in the filter was a little dark) I don't remember noticing the air bleed on the injector pump, but will look...

    B6200E not starting

Hi all, newbie to this site. I have an older B6200E Kubota I inherited from my father in law about 8 years ago. It was used pretty regularly when he had it, mowing between the rows of Christmas trees. As we no longer have the trees, it has been pretty much just sitting, used occasionally maybe...
