    Assist Lift Spring

Knowing the dimensions, means the 'strength' of the spring will be determined by the wire size. thin wire, weak, fat wire strong. I'm guessing something made from 3/16" wire would be 'ok' ?? be nice to see a picture of a real spring...

loading a backhoe off the unit

Since it's 'freestanding', simply push one lever 'up' and pull/push that stab to 'full up', repeat for other side. some oil will come out one of the bigger hoses..... Obviously need to strap the two stabs together, else they'll sloooowly fall down.

    New Compost Bin

for the house garden , I stacked concrete blocks to make 3 'bins', about 4' deep, 4' high, 12' long. 1st 'waste' goes into the left bin, when full, use right bin. Have a screen so you dump left bin compost and it falls into the center bin, waste into the right. I go left>right , right>left and...

Rear tire fill - your thoughts appreciated

I chose the carryall. have 2 'skids of stuff', one heavy , one light. Easy to put carryall on, then backup and grab a 'skid of stuff' based on the loader work. light for mulch/compost work, heavy for dirt/stone work. when you run light , it's easier on the machine(less wear and tear, better MPG...

PTO drive for a Miller Bobcat welder?

The big issue is HOW are you going to control generator speed ? Most (all ? ) welders have current sensors to control engine RPM ? As for PTO to drive it, you'll need a x6 increase( say 3" PTO pulley, 18" on the generator. I fgeeny doesn't have one, add a 'frequency' meter , you'll want to get...

Help! Complete novice with fuel system problem.

FWIW. Buy a 'mason jar cold coffee filter' and install in the neck of the fuel tank. It'll just slide in and sit there. This will eliminate anything but fuel getting INTO the tank. Cost is less than $20, saves you hours of 'fun' to remove the tank.

update: asked Mozilla about it, they said to only delete the OTT 'cookie', not ALL cookies. Did that yesterday afternoon and so far...I'm STILL logged in. They thought the cookie ( data for OTT ) was corrupted 'some how'. When I go to OTT and login, a new 'cookie' is created. So problem seems to...
