Thanks, that was the problem. Apparently Kubota switched the bearings such that the setscrews were directly in the bearing rather that having an attached shoulder. In my opinion, a very dangerous change.

I have a BX2370 with BX5450 snow Blower. The rear driveline disconnected from Output Shaft during operation and broke the U-joints at the rear of the driveline shaft. The Output Shaft appears to have moved forward causing the female end of the driveline to disconnect. Ideas why this may have...
