    Review: Woodmaxx MX9900 Chipper

I was on their list for about 2 months before they called saying one was ready. MX8800 arrived about three weeks ago. Awesome unit. I went on the list for the 86, 8800, and 9900. When they called, they said they had 86 and 8800 available, and the 9900 was still a month out.

    Plowing / Grading with a Kubota L3300

Try with the rake pivoted to about a 30-45 degree angle. Windrow from the outside to the inside in each direction. That should elongate the bumps and knock down the washboards so the tractor rides smoother. Finish up with a 0deg/90 deg pull on the center to distribute gravel back to the track...

    Hydro Filter Change Only

Uh - yes, Kubota manual says trans filter only at 200 hrs, filter and fluid at 400. (L3301HST) And yes, vacuum works great on the 3301. I agree with you that for older/other designs the vacuum method may not work, and each machine will have different service requirements.

    Hydro Filter Change Only

Super easy! Set up a shop vac near the hydraulic fluid fill port. Remove the fill cap, turn on vac, and put the hose over the fill port. Prop it up or duct tape it on. Doesn’t have to be super airtight, just stay in place. Now when you spin, off the filters, it will suck air back through the...

    Kubota L2501 - initial review

As another data point, my 3301 also does not require the clutch to be in the start UNLESS the PTO is engaged. You might double check the PTO switch all the way to the rear (off). Could be a limit switch misaligned too. I’d dig into that, as it sure sounds like a safety interlock is accidentally...

    L3301 is loosing power

Sounds like a fuel problem, but if it is running for 15 mins at power, it is delivering about a quart of fuel just fine. If it only ran at power for a minute, I'd say pinched fuel line, clogged filter, or the isolator valve on the fuel/water separator out of position. Is it consistent near 15...

    Third function pressure relief

My observation with connecting and disconnecting mine - hanging it in the air and relieving the pressure with it hanging works great to disconnect the hoses. BUT... when you then go and set it down to remove it, it likely is not going to sit down on the ground with the jaws at the exact same...
