Hey guys, Can someone tell me what the RPM at idle should be? It tachs at 1400-1450, shouldn't this be more like 850-900? They dealer delivered the tractor before I got home from work on Friday. I'll probably call Monday and see what they say. Anyone have any input?

Does anyone have thoughts concerning mowing quality between the 54" and 60" decks? I have heard that the wider the deck, the lesser the quality. Is there really any noticeable difference? After a recent trip to the dealership, I ask the sales department if anything new was happening with the Kubota lineup. They said the BX lineup will see a change. Has anyone heard whats up?

It has always started quickly after 5-10 sec pre-heat. Now it acts like the glow plug does nothing at all. When it cranks for a few seconds, it finally starts and seems flooded. After a few seconds it seems fine. The tractor has about 1500 hours on the meter. Do glow plugs ever go bad?

You are right. Titan has been around for a long time and they look like a good tire. It kind of surprised me that Goodyear no longer produced an ag tire.

I will continue to look around for a tire. I am back in operation right now and can get by. I have looked online to see what I could find. I guess Goodyear no longer makes ag tires. All 9.5-16's are Titan or Carlisle in 6ply. Thanks for all the input

Re: B7300 Oil Leak Well, no such luck. The oil pressure unit wasn't the problem. It is definitely leaking from the starter/flywheel area. I am pretty sure it is engine oil. Looks like a trip to the dealer service dept is in my future.:eek:
