    I bought these 36" Titan brand forks last month. They weigh 300lbs and are built pretty stout. Cost $454 that included shipping, they arrived 7 days later. Noticed they increased the price to $504 recently. Railroad cross ties weigh about 200lbs each and the 2501 lifted everything with no problem.

    I believe in preventive maintenance but if you think it could never happen you just do not understand what tractors are exposed to when used in the woods or anywhere for that matter.
