Looking For a 3 Point Hitch Attachment With a Trailering Ball

I had a homebuilt hitch system much like the one in post #25... That is with 2" receiver under the cross bar to be at the lowest level.. The arm at the top link end of my unit was about 8" long and worked well for lift log ends for skidding.. What I will ....HIGHLY.... recommend is to...

    Baler ?

There was a time I was pretty serious about a ...package... of hay equipment consisting of a mower, rake, baler package for a bit under $10,000 at the time... Then I wanted a string tie bailer, not net wrap.. They kept pushing the net wrap option pretty much ignoring my preference of string...

    Tractor Implements Canada

Things on forums I have read from people in the Maritime and people I have talked to say it is hard at best to find and ship implements.. I had the same issues in northern British Columbia.. Good luck..

Snow skis on a box blade.

At one time, in my ..Good Idea... note book I had plans to build ski type skid shoes like the picture in post #1... Also a trailing blade... Both that would bolt to my cheap auto, farm store box blade to use it as a better alternative to move snow with than the 3pt rear blade I had at the...

Starting point angles for single row bedder?

The bed hiller I had a very little experience with was set at a dedicated 45deg angles.. This on a homemade set up.. Depending on your ground and your crop, the width between the disks can make a difference..

    Skidding Winch Recommendation

If you have the work for the attachment it will be a work saver.. And it will be resalable..

    Skidding Winch Recommendation

Um... I successfully moved a lot of timber out of the bush without a skidding winch... I kind of coveted a winch at times and it would have been quicker in some situations... But I didn't want to spend that kind of money... What worked well for me was several dead man pullies, a couple 100...

    Snowplow extension wings

I had an old 6' blade on the 3point.. I built a wing out of expanded metal that would bolt to either end of the blade.. It wasn't perfect but good enough for what it was meant for.. Also what helped a lot was to bolt about a 6" wide piece of belting along the top of the blade that would be...

    Well Used Bush Hog

WOW..... I'll bet that was a surprise when it happened... If it were my mower, I would get another one.. Then depending on cost, fix, sell the old one to retrieve some value from it..

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

YES.... ALWAYS fill rear tires... Product used depends on your local weather and budget.. I did a DIY fill on one tractor using auto antifreeze and -35F washer fluid mix.. There are heavier products by the gallon, but this was the most budget friendly mix available at the time.. It worked...

Attachment that has both SSQA and 3-point options.

I believe it is Good Works Tractor that has a combo pallet fork rack, trailer mover, round bale mover (?) frame that attaches to cat 1, 3pt and JD loader quick hitch.. I'm sure this would be very useful.. Somewhere I saw someone made homemade adaptor to mount a 3pt attachment to a pallet...

New beginning, 3 PT rear Blade

I also bought a well used 6' rear blade... It was about 9/10 wore out, but with a little TLC and a very crude paint job refreshed to only about 7/8 wore out... It was incredibly cheap and more than useful for what I needed... Good luck..

Farm King (Allied) 3 point snow blower 5010

I had a used 50" Buhler 3pt 2 stage blower.. I think this same model had a number of different labels.. It was simple, rugged, easy to maintain.. It may not have been the biggest, fastest as I only had 32 gross horse power to work with, but it moved a lot of snow for cheap..

Best Rear Cat 1 snow blower

I had a 50" Buhler cat 1, 3pt manual chute adjustment blower.. I'm sure this same manufacturer had them out under a number of different names... I got it used, gave it a good tune up, tightened the chute rotation cable and greased the chute where it rotated.. Adjusted the skid shoes and...

Washing the Tractor. Hood Open, or Hood Closed?

The time or 2 I washed the tractor I used a table spoon of dish soap in 3/4 bucket of water.. I used this solution and scrubbed it with a very soft bristle curling broom.. Gave it a quick rinse down with the hose then let it sit out in a gentle afternoon, evening rain.. This the only time it...

    Bucket Level Indicator?

My tractor had a bar gauge like in post #17.... It was a big help learning where to know when the bucket was level.. After I installed a tooth bar I put a ring of electricians tape on the tattle tail bar to make it easy to adjust where the tooth bar worked best.. Also put a tape mark on...
