My dust caps aren't broken but they won't stay on. The rubber stem has enough spring in it that it pops them off the lines. It's almost like they stretched out and are too big now. Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks for the replies. I will look into a box blade, will be helpful to maintain the driveway as well. As far as traffic it will be light, mostly the tractor, ATVs, and the occasional car or truck for maintenance. I figured 4"-6" with Geofabric should do the job well.

I take the FEL off as well when I mow. Make sure you have it in 4WD when mowing the hills, it helps it keep from taking off on you if you do lose some traction. I suggest having the ROPS up and your seat belt on.

So for the folks with the filled tires do you notice a big difference in stability when, say, mowing on the side of a hill? I do have a steep bank I mow, it is only one pass but it can be touch and go for a bit if i am not careful.

In the winter I keep it in my attached garage so I don't have to drive it across the yard and possibly make ruts if it snows. In the summer it stays in my barn.

On my B2301 there is an adjustment knob but I have also noticed that you only need to lower the arms slightly to get the mower all the way down. The position control lever doesn't need to be completely lowered.
