    Dirt leveling question..

ive drawn up a few different ideas for a box blade. In every case, by the time it is robust enough to last, material cost is about the same as just buying one. I love fabricating but sometimes you just got to look at the ruthless facts.

    New guy, im totally irrational

I too was unimpressed with the performance of my new G-6 Gator Blades. So I modified them just a bit. I figure if I am using horsepower to turn something, it better be cutting. Sharpened all of the uprights into blades, wihtout getting hot and then re balanced. I make grass confetti now.

Dont know how to attach mower deck

I have looked around a bit...Its doesnt seem like it should be this hard to find installation instructions to put my Kubota 60" belly mower on my Kubota hst7100. Tons of YouTube vids showing them off, selling them, but nothing showing HOW. How to install this thing. Not sure if I have too many...

    Just a Thanks!

Thanks to this site, I learned about/found the rear diff lock on my 7200. previous owner of 17 years did not know it had one. As result, he said he dug the thing out of mud by hand a few times over the years. Not me.

Can somebody recommend an air powered impact wrench

Excellent point ^^^, supply air id a MAJOR factor here. 1/4" hoses dont deliver a lot of CFM, but those 3/8" hoses sure do! even on a small tank, the ability to quickly dump it all into the gun is a huge advantage. 38" hoses can be had at Harbor F. for really cheap; the diablo series has worked...

    Grease, Whats is everyone using?

I only got the grease from the shop, not the cap. BUT i do happen to have a zerk fitting on my desk, it is just a standard fitting and measures about .255" across the thick section. These will probably be great...

    Grease, Whats is everyone using?

If an application calls for a Moly fortified grease, use a moly fortified grease. I have seen what happens when you dont. surfaces start trading metal and dont last long after that. But, it is not the best grease for everything. No grease is best for everything. Interesting info about grease...

    Grease, Whats is everyone using?

I have to gracefully disagree with the statement that frequency is better than type. But it kind of depends on the situation. Anything that gets grease from me (with the exception of moly for cv's etc) the only grease I use now is Amsoil Dominator. ................ 2...
