    Draining Water Separator

Don't know what's up with all that gibberish, won't let me edit it out. I hope you got the gist of it. (Mod Edit)Fixed, whatever device your posting from doesn't like apostrophes.

    Draining Water Separator

The first diagram is for draining the tank itself. The water separator has nothing to do with that. As fuel is pumped to your injectors, the first stop out of the fuel tank is through the separator. Due to density, the water goes to the bottom. The red float is made from a plastic that is...

    L3400 not cranking

Re: L3400 not crankink First guess would be seat or pedal switch. Was the PTO engaged, or could you have hit the button getting down?

    2016 MX5200 Dual Fuel Filters?

If you got, and filled it, in October, chances are very good that you're not running a winter blend. Even if your garage is warm, fuel will begin to gel as soon as you get outside. Don't be afraid of fuel conditioners. They're an absolute necessity, especially this winter. Alternately, you can...

    2016 MX5200 Dual Fuel Filters?

The first one is the water separator, there's a wire screen inside. The second one (on the engine) is the fuel filter. The cartridge (looks like an oil filter) is around $20.00. The fuel filter assembly itself is pretty expensive. That's probably what you were looking at. Word of advice from...

    Grease zerk question

Not that I'm aware of, but metric taps are pretty easy and affordable to come by. One other thing you need to be aware of is whether the zerk is a tapered thread or standard thread.

    Grease zerk question

Where is the zerk? I'm pretty sure that the tractor uses metric, but the loader uses SAE. IIRC, the L2501 took 8mm on the tractor.

How many hours on your tractor.

Got my MX5200 in October. Just getting ready for my 50 hour service. She's been 100% problem free except for a PIA fuel gelling issue (even with winter blend). The hour meter on the Ford 4000 died at 3000 hours (10 years ago) and she's still going strong!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Oh yeah... what did I do with my Kubota today? Cut a trench so the run off would bypass the garage door. 60 degrees today? Just when I had the driveways looking good. Jeesh!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Agree 100%. 911 (red bottle) is harsh on injectors and pumps. Great product if you need it, but ONLY if you need it. I always use the conditioner (white bottle) even with winter blend.
