Finally Picked Up an L3560 LE

In Texas we don’t deal with cabs but do depend on our bimini covers to break the sun and mine has a high speed radiator fan mounted in it to stay cool. BUT, as for the wind drag on it while trailering, it’s the same. I bungee the cover from the fan mounts to the ROPS, and it’s damned stable at...

Finally Picked Up an L3560 LE

Yep, flip it and bungee the cab door handles together for the road. Tarps, in my opinion, have their own issues on the highway. Nice rig. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Opinion on Price—Old Deere 35 Mini Grader

A local-ish guy is looking for $350 for the below mini grader. I can make good use of it, though he’s an 80 mile round trip from me. New ones on Amazon are $385 delivered, though I like to think more flimsy than the JD, albeit with some miles on it. Anyhow, thoughts on whether $350 is too high...

Curious what you’ll be towing off the box blade and if it harms the 3-point hitch hydraulics? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Brush Guard Ideas

For sure. Looks great. I’d buy one from the guy if he’s in the mood to make another. It would need to fit a 2014 L4760. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BH77 seat for Grand L3560 when ordering

I’m 6’4 and the set up on my L4760/BH92 is super tight. Remedy for me was to order a “pleather”-covered barber booster cushion. Sits me up higher, even with back of fold up seat, providing maneuverability room with the car Brenk levers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BH-92 backhoe stabilizer wont stay up

100% right. Always pin the bucket when not using the BH. Run a chain across both stabilizers and tie them off to each other to avoid outriggers slow fall to the ground. My remedy was a piece of chain, custom cut to length, with two attached carabiner clips at both ends. Always handy that way...

    Thinking of getting a Backhoe

I love my BH92/thumb/L4760. Absolutely great combo. I’m amazed at the weekly use I find for it. Its been detached from the tractor for a couple months with box blade in place while I’ve been working extra aggregate into my ranch roads in Central Texas. I’ll be glad to make the swap back in a...

Thinking of upgrading to an L 4760

Also decide whether you’ll have need for a third function control grapple, etc), before you leave the dealer with the rig. In the long run, the dealer installed work is cost effective and warranted. You can utilize the standard rear hydro outlets and run hoses to the front as a poor-boy...

Thinking of upgrading to an L 4760

Agreed. My L4760 is a 2014 with 1055 FEL and BH92 hoe. Absolutely flawless machine mechanically. I’ve added a few mods to it. Still want to add better grill guard and LEDs but more than that I’m looking into an aftermarket replacement for the factory seat. It’s great if you’re 5’8” but not so at...

    Tier 4 engine identification

So is my 2014 L4760 a Tier 4? And if so what maintenance is required? Does it use a urea treatment tank or similar? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hooking up implements on dollies?

I love it! Excellent solution. I'm currently using four of Harbor Freight's wheeled auto platforms, but l believe I need to frame them together as you have, vs depending on the BH weight to keep the rolllers in place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just a FYI on front buckets for bota's

Wouldn't do without my tooth bar on L4760/LA1055 FEL in Central Texas' rocky soil. My only beef is that it's a bit hard to guarantee a flush ground contact if you encourage the angle of attack for the teeth to dig (even with the gauge arm indicator). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
