You didn't mention this. Make sure all your power and ground cables are in good shape with clean secure connections.

Great upgrade. For your own safety I would radius all the corners. For me I only have to look at something sharp and then I'm bleeding.

Don't use neverseize on anything that has to be torqued. It acts as a lubricant and you will end up over torquing.

B2601. Thought as you that something weird was happening. I even convinced myself that I put the knob in the wrong spot. You get used to it moving around.

Why not fill the hole in the ornament with jb weld and then use the double sided tape as you suggested.

The easiest thing to do would be to remove it from the bracket and tuck it up securely. No fitting required and easy to put back in place. Or as you said remove and cap.

Looking at pictures of the blower there should be a vent on top, a fill plug on the side and a drain that is sorta near the bottom but still on the side. Oil should be filled to the point that it starts to flow out the fill plug. Not the best design as you can't drain all the oil out. This shows...

Different blower but same issue with draining. I drain as much as possible and fill it up.

He posted the problem in post #15. Something chewed his wiring.

You could also check with the dealers if they possibly have an older model sitting around. Im using a BX2755HD blower with a B2798 mid pto kit. This is not the K connect system.

Same story here. Built a factory five about 15 years ago. Fun to drive and had a blast building it.

The blower looks very similar to my BX2755HD. As I stated the subframe I'm using with my B2601 is the B2714C. The drive line kit for it is a B2798. Hope this helps you.

After you get it all repaired I recommend to mark the shaft with a paint marker. It gives a quick visual if anything has moved. I use bright yellow so it really stands out.

Found it in Kubota parts. It should be this part # 6C300-51364. Messicks has it listed.

Is this a new to you unit or not? Doesn't seem right if all the parts are correct for your application. Possible wrong shafts.

Clean the old grease off at the start of the season and put a new coat of red and tacky on.
