    Backhoe Hydraulic Hose replacement tips?

I replaced all the hoses on my hoe, they're a nightmare. You can only get to some if you take the rest off, so as suggested, take pictures. I didn't, and my boom cylinder is backwards. I wasn't taking it all off again so I live with it because it's one of the inner sticks.

    Ticks!

I knew a guy who got lyme disease. He got real bad for a long time, years it took him to recover. Get a couple dozen chickens, let them go where you go, they love ticks. Ever since I got them a few years ago, I haven't had a single tick on anyone. They have really cleaned up the place.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I finished tilling the area with my new holand, and got the garden fence up, and gate built. I'll spread the compost and till once more, then plant. I really want a 3pt tiller for the kubota, the new holland struggles with the hard ground.

I can think of a few people I'd like to grab with that fancy grapple. ;)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I sheered the bolt holding on the power steering cylinder. The other end is somewhere in the field. I guess if you want something to break when you hit lock, that's the thing that's easiest and cheapest to replace.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

If you look very closely, there's some tractor tires in the background.

Drill Chuck for 1/2" Impact Wrench?

I just bought a corded milwaukee hammer drill on fb marketplace for $40. It's not SDS but it did the job. I needed to drill about 60 holes 6" deep and 1/2" diameter in concrete that was poured in 1964 to stick rebar pins in a retaining wall I was putting up. Totally worth it. Check out the used...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Spent a couple hours clearing dirt. Had to remove a foot of earth due to a hydraulic leak then move more dirt in the backhoe. Then leveled the ground more.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The 3pt arms drop when the tractor is off and all the weights fell off with quite a bang. It's just holding them up. I'm looking for another way to secure them going down

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Almost had a very bad day when moving material in the bucket, so I decided to make a mount for some rear suitcase weights. I used the 3pt arms and took some angle iron and welded wings onto it and drilled some holes so I could bolt it to the arms. The goal was to keep it as tight as possible...

    Must be Spring...

Excellent tractor. At some point my engine was replaced with that of a super 88. It's the industrial version with ware loader and backhoe. It's a bit rough and sloppy but i managed to dig the foundation for my shop.

    Simple Chicken Coop

I'm picking up another dozen on friday. We have 36 now. I have the brooder ready, just need to clear some space in the shop. I'm going to build a brooder at the end of the run so I don't have to worry about the chicks getting everything dusty.

Electric vehicles will be cheaper to produce than gas cars by 2027: report

The only way i'd consider an EV is if there was no fancy software and updates and constant connectivity. I don't trust other people to decide what's right for me.

Electric vehicles will be cheaper to produce than gas cars by 2027: report

I am more leaning towards a club car carry all, with lift kit, bigger wheels, and upgraded motor. I don't need 4x4 to haul chicken feed a hundred yards. It's not steep grade. And that totals about 8k compared to 15k for something bigger. A 4x4 bed is sufficient, I can get 8 bags in there no problem.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Nice day out. Moved about 30 yards of dirt to unburry a tractor. Graded the area real good, will be putting garden there. B8200 did the grading, b7200 did the dirt moving and rescue my old new holland and took it to the shop. Just turned dusk so timing was perfect, set up in the shop and started...

Electric vehicles will be cheaper to produce than gas cars by 2027: report

I'm not saying i'd get rid of my gas car/truck. But i'm looking for an electric utv to help with chicken feed. Mainly bags back and forth from storage. IT's not going to work for everyone for everything, but for some things, it definitely works.

Electric vehicles will be cheaper to produce than gas cars by 2027: report

The simple answer is, I'll never be able to make my own gasoline or diesel, it's just not practical, especially without relying on outside sources even for biodiesel to make it. But I can make my own electricity. And I do. Solar has finally reached the point where it's not a fad, you can...

When is additional weight too much weight?

I have a question. Why not? The weight isn't on the axle, it's on the tire. It adds to traction. I have a tractor with these, and 2 with washer fluid. Also you dont' have to watch the whole video to figure out what he's doing, you can skip ahead.

Electric vehicles will be cheaper to produce than gas cars by 2027: report

No one is saying EV's have to replace all vehicles. But for a whole lot of people who just putter around town to the shops and work and back, an ev might make sense. Less dependence on fossil fuels that fund terrorists is a good thing, cleaner air is a good thing. If you don't drive more than...
