Try changing where you get your fuel from. Using fuel from one station I am 30+ hours between regens on my 3901, while I get 25ish from another. My Powerstroke developed an under-boost issue, the only thing that cleared it up was changing where I filled up. Tier 1 fuel in modern diesels is a must!

I have used Arch oil and fuel additives in my diesel truck. Fuel additive only in the tractor. They both run smoother using it. Fuel milage in the truck slightly increased. My L3901 seems to have more frequent regens with the fuel additive....But when I got bad fuel one time, it did restore power.
