Got it going that day not sure if the fuel was jelled as to why electric fuel pump woundnt come on or what but I treated fuel after I got it going hasn't acted up since and their won't be any smoke with a dpf on new tractors so can't use that as a way to trouble shoot
It's a brand new m5660 with 10h on it I did call the dealer ran the night befor I turnd key and check eng light come on glow plug light didn't come on or fuel pump wouldn't ether I checked all fuses no blown it would turn over got it going now not sure what was up got to keep an eye on it nd...
If I was u I'd look into the m5660 it's a bigger frame tractor with a lot of capacity yet small enough to move around easy enough in tighter places I just traded my l4240 in for one and already love it and only put 2 hours on it
I know for a fact my back blade will be strong enough since it came from my uncles dairy farm with tractors around the size of this one it makes the front end of the 4240 light even with the loader on I bet it's 800-1000 pounds

I hear u their I love the ease of going the woods with the l since I do 12-15 cord of wood for my house and farm but the extra weight will be great don't usaly run out of power with the 4240 just lose traction I'm not a big fan of the dpf but that's what it is now hopimg to hear from a few...
I'm selling wood pellets now and I need so thing to lift a ton of then of a 18 wheeler l4240 is just to light and won't pick that high up I also help a uncle on his 300+ acre dairy farm that's why I'm going the m5660 route
