I'll have to be honest and say I don't use glow at all....just roll it over. I'll have to do that... I was told by the seller it wasn't necessary but clearly he was wrong. (no wonder I had to change the air and fuel filters and even the waterpump). I'm assuming that's just stage 2 on the key...

My first diesel. Gr2110 with 148 hours. Quite a bit of (at first) black and then white smoke on start up. Lasts about a minute or so until it warms up. I'm wondering if this is common at all times or is a tune up issue? Suggestions?

mystery solved! thanks... it makes sense but is a poor approach to something that requires the engine running and lever engaged to execute.

I have this new to me mower (gr2110) which works great other than the 2 arm which are intended to lower to attach the mower "won't" unless I pry them down by hand with leverage from a wood dowel or shovel handle. Once connected to the mower it operates up and down well...not connected it is...

Thanks everyone for your replies. I actually read these while methodically working back from the tank. I replaced both filters and found that bleed valve. I got no good result and went to the pump. As it was factory installed and difficult to remove I disconnected the power and blew compressed...
