That is what I was leaning toward. Most newer tractors recommend oil and filter at 200 hours, wasn't sure if 100 hours was excessive.

The manual recommends replacing the oil every 100 hours and the oil and filter every 200 hours. Should I just replace the oil and filter every 100 hours?

I had the same problem. 25 year old tractor, only 400 hours, probably had not moved in a year or two. Diff lock would not engage, then when it did, stuck on. I had to manually force the linkage the first time. I have used it a few times since then, works great now.

Alright, clutch adjustment time it is. By all means NIW lead the way! In a related question, anyone have any idea how to adjust the clutch on this thing? I know I know, RTFM (or buy in this case).

This is exactly what is happening to me, just more frequent than seems normal. If it does, the double clutching like thing fixes it. I was not thinking clutch adjustment because it does not grind unless I double clutch and make it grind. Anyone know why or how the clutch adjustment will help?
