I am extremely happy to report that I got to run the tractor for a couple of hours this weekend and it never skipped a beat! That hasn't happened in years! I was loath to tear it down to pull the fuel tank, but now I sure am glad I did. It's running better than when I first got it seven years...

Yesterday I changed the filters, oil and fan belt, and drained and cleaned the fuel tank (found the attached picture in it - go figure). Today I sharpened the blades and freed all the anti-scalping wheels which had frozen pins and shafts. Hopefully better today than the day I got it.

I've had the mysterious "engine bogs down after twenty minutes" problem with my BX2200 for a couple of years now. The local shop said to look for something in the tank that was blocking the line. I was skeptical but I finally broke down and brought it into town where I could work on it easier...
