Thanks Wolfman, that's a great help. I knew it would be complicated. I will do a filter and hyd fluid change first, and if no luck, I will talk to a local and well-respected shop to rebuild the pump. The drawings scare the bejesus out of me. Thanks again. Gary G

Power steering, and it's a DT

1984 machine in terrific condition. The steering can be normal one moment, and the next it's quite hard to turn. Always, well 95% of the time it's kept out of the weather. No noise, or any other sign of malfunction. I suspect a steering box problem, but can't be sure. Any help would be...
