    I have the TG1860 diesel.Not sure if the transaxle is the same but mine stops the moment you release the foot control.

    After finally getting my hydro gear pump, motor and seal kit yesterday I got my TG1860 (1270 hrs) put back together and mowed. And mowed. Then mowed some more!
