Changed shift lever boot on B5200

Been a few years since i tried so got it done today. Shift knob was glued to shaft. Heated shaft with propane torch, then used 1/2 in open end wrench under knob and hammer to tap off knob. Changed boot. WATCH OUT, SHAFT IS HOT! put knob on shaft and tapped into place with hammer.

    B5200 Blue/White wire near fuses ?

OK... WHat's this wire for ? Not on any schematic I've seen. I just got this B5200 and am getting it running and cleaned up. (unused for a few years). There is a black wire next to it with a ring lug and the blue/white wire has a barrel connector on it. Thanks. BILL
