there is an air bleed on top of the filter assembly, there is another on the side of the injector pump. do I have these open while cranking it? thanks.

Thanks everybody, it didnt occur to me to mention it's 4 wheel drive with turf tires. my front wheels are cracking as well between the lug holes. I have TIG welded them, but would like to find some new ones someday.
