    ATP-205 safe for 1999 B2100 HST?

Hi all, I'm surprised I could find no references to this in the thread history... so here goes... The rear seal on my 1999 B2100 has developed a slow leak after some vines got wrapped around the shaft and some of it worked its way into the seal. I carefully removed the material but it must...

    Does this filter look right?

A big thanks to everyone who took time to respond. I finally took the tank out and flushed it... there was a fair amount of debris in there - mostly doug fir needles and buds. Apparently the dealer lied to me (or did a really poor job) when they claimed they had flushed the tank on the first...

    Does this filter look right?

Hi All, My G-2160 mower is losing power again after a few minutes of mowing. The RPMs drop way down, and if I disengage the PTO they'll pick back up and the engine runs smooth. I thought the dealer got this licked last year when they changed out the fuel pump, filters, and flushed the fuel...

    G2160 Temp Sender Location?

Yep, that's exactly what I did - measured the rad and hosing with an IR Therm and the reading seemed fine. What I can't figure out is how on earth does that sensor get damaged like that - in my case, probably 1/4" of the tip was just gone! I wouldn't think coolent flow could do that...

    G2160 mower deck PTO disengagement

A big thanks to those who took time to give me some tips. :D Just a quick follow up for others who might stumble across this thread. Yep, there is no release button on the PTO coupler - you just pull the outside collar ring back and then hopefully pull on the shaft and the thing should...

    G2160 mower deck PTO disengagement

Thanks for the responses. I have done push/pull on the shaft and it's not budging. I don't think it is rusted or siezed though as I can see about 1/16" back and forth play in it. The root of the problem seems to be that the coupler just won't disengage... I was hoping someone would say I'm...

    G2160 mower deck PTO disengagement

Hi all, It looks straight forward... but for the life of me I can't get the PTO coupler to disengage. There is an outside housing that is spring loaded, pulling that back seems like it should do the trick, but the housing won't budge from the PTO. I don't think the telescoping shaft is siezed...

    problem with kubota g2160

I had EXACTLY this same problem.... it turned out to be a bad fuel pump. It seems odd that it would run fine for a while and then loss power... but replacing the fuel pump solved the probelm.

    G2160 Temp Sender Location?

Just a followup for other's future reference. Yes, the Temp Sensor is located on the right-hand side of the Thermostat housing just below the level of the thermostat. I ordered a new sensor for ~$40. When I screwed out the old one, I noticed that the head of it was short and squared off...

    G2160 Temp Sender Location?

Thank you for your response "Wolfman". This is a big help - as I previously mentioned, the radiator coolent only registers 158 degs when the sender indicates an over-heat situation. Now that I understand where the sender is actually measuring temps at, I can see that it could be measuring...

    G2160 Temp Sender Location?

Bump... really? No one on this board has any ideas where the temp sender is located or specifically what the overhead light is measuring?

    G2160 Temp Sender Location?

I'm getting the oveheat indicator flashing on the front panel after about 20 mins of mowing - but the mower is not obviously overheated. The over heat indicator seems to come on when the coolant at the top of the radiator reaches ~158 deg. I'm wondering if the sendor is bad or if maybe the...

    G2160-rs48 bagger removal?

Hi All, I just purchased a used G21600rs48 mower to keep the B2100 company. All the product literature states that the rear bagger is "quick and easy to remove without the use of tools"... but it's not looking very intuitive to me. The main operating manual for the G2160 doesn't mention the...
