    Oil pressure woes

Wow. Now I have 2 reasons to drain the oil, and remove the sump/cover/bottom. I'll be looking for that plug, and I can clean the sump intake. I wonder if that plug comes out, how likely it is to just fall down. I'll keep watching, because I won't be trying anything until April or May.

Sterno: I'm glad you're going to get to the bottom of this. I'll be watching, because I have same problem with my 2cyl z751. And its cold and I don't need to be operating until May 2013, so I won't be fixing mine first. I have not taken a careful look, but a quikie look at my manual suggest...

Will 3 cycl start w/o glow plugs?

I have a 2cyl z751 diesel. I made an electrical print. I measure 1.0 ohms from glow indicator to ground. That goes thru 2 plugs in parallel, so I induce that each plug is about 2.0 ohms. You don't need a great VOM, just a cheapo HbFreight $3 digitalVOM. On the lowest scale, short the leads...

    Oil pressure woes

I am having same problem w 2cyl Diesel. Down to 5psi at 700rpm, and 11psi at 2700rpm, good gage. New oil/filter, same. Old oil was not that gross, I only changed it because I did not know how old it was, and I had such low psi. It looks like the easiest thing to check is the sump intake. I hope...
