My B 2920 tractor sits in unheated garage. I start it, let it idle for about 3-5 min. The do what I need. I do the same in the hot summer months. This is my 3rd Kubota, have always done the same. If I was going to work it hard with high rpm,s I would make sure it,s warmed up good. Good luck!!!

I have a 2012 2920 delivered 10/01/12. It will start with the tractor in low,med or high range. You do not need to be on the seat. You do not need to push in the clutch. It will not start if the pto is in gear. It will stop if you are off seat and try to push hydro pedal forward or reverse...
