What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Replaced the seals in my FEL lift cylinders to stop it from slowly bleeding down. I now have a strong dislike of the person who thought gland nuts were a good idea.

Log lifter, drager skiderwhat ever you call it

I've been looking at logging arches too and I've come across a few decent looking versions. http://www.mistersawmill.com/toppage1.htm http://www.logrite.com/mainarch.html But what I really want is one of these: http://www.wallensteinofcalifornia.com/product_p/lt40-fslash-lx100-fslash-l101.htm

    New headlights for a B7001

I'm not sure how many amps your generator puts out but I can tell you it's not much. The H-3s in the first set will keep it working pretty hard. I would go with LEDs, either replace the H-3s and use the housing or buy complete LED units that will fit the holes. You don't want to be draining...

    reversed front tires

It's not about the stability but the added leverage that will be applied to the front axle and all related parts. The pivot points will get more pressure than the system was designed to take if you use the loader for heavy stuff. It will also be harder on the steering components. It may look...

Still messing with this B6100HST slip when hot problem

IMO, if you took it in explicitly for pressure testing, they should provide the test results in writing. No written results, no $123. That it should have been warmed up and wasn't pretty much tells the story on this dealer. I'm sure someone will jump on me for this but if it were mine, I...

    Replaced the Decompression Cable

The Decompression Cable can also be used as an emergency stop for a runaway engine. Note that I say emergency as it's not great for the engine but might keep it from disintegrating.

    B8200 hsd

Gee this all looks familiar. Last year at this same time I was looking at the same orange scenery. :) Same tractor, same problem areas. I paid $55 for the plastic grill surround for mine, If I'd known it came in metal I would have paid more to go that way. i don't know if you're getting...

Same on mine, a rubber strap.

    another newb needing advice

It does look good but I question the hours as well. The seat has been replaced and it looks to be the more recent Bright Orange II on my computer. Nothing wrong with being refurbished but I would look very carefully since it's being represented as original.

    New to tactor repair B7200

If you disconnected the front hydraulic cylinder, try reconnecting it and see of the 3PH works. If it does, you can run a small hose in a loop from the output to the input on the distribution block until you get the valve figured out. Basically a bypass setup to let the hydraulic fluid flow to...

    Hydraulic pressure

I didn't mean that to come off as an impossible task. I've restored quite a few machines of many types and I've found that the easiest way to deal with complex systems is to go through them and get all the settings and adjustments back to original configuration. Quite often amateur repairs miss...

    Hydraulic pressure

That sure isn't helping anything but does it ooze oil? It doesn't appear to be through to the front far enough to reach the cylinder but it's hard to tell. You're on the right track. Now all you have to do is find everything the previous owner(s) fixed and repair them properly.

    Hydraulic pressure

In giving a little more thought to Joshua's problem, I have a couple of ideas. First, remove the nut from the pressure release valve. My 3PH valve seems to have a couple of different release valves built in. If the pressure of the system is too high, the release in the 3PH may be bleeding off...

    Hydraulic pressure

Yeah, Joshua has a different issue. I don't get how it could be the pump if it showed 2550 on a closed loop. I temporarily fixed mine with a short hose connecting the two loader ports but in Joshua's case it's something else. I don't know if his distribution block has any flow controls but if it...

    Hydraulic pressure

Dusty, that pic and the description just ended a small nightmare I was having with my B8200. The manual calls that the "reverse valve". Made no sense to me and mine is frozen anyway. Now I know why my 3PH stopped working with the loader disconnected. I'll get it freed up so I can use the 3PH...

Is this a fair price? kubota model B7200HST

Not a B7200 and no FEL but this looks like a nice start for a restoration. http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/grd/1685861750.html I've been watching for a larger one but nothing cheap has come up. Kubotas below 10k seem to sell very well in this area.

Is this a fair price? kubota model B7200HST

He's about 20 miles from me and the Canadian dollar is just about even. Newer B7800's are going for less than $10k with FEL's around here.
