I'm thinking about putting my L2900 DT GST tractor for sale.i resently put a new head and piston and rings.its running but definitely needs engine work.the 4x4 doesn't work do to broken pinion shaft.the hydraulics all work good and GST works good.has the LA 480 loader on it.and it all works good...

Tractor got a little hot.so I shut it off.and now when cranking the motor drags and not crank fast enough to start.

My loader is leaking at the plate that has two hex bolts.its where the the handle pushes and raises the valve.my guess it has o rings.what all seals this from leaking and what's inside there.

On the top link a standard category 1 pin was to short the way it was when bought it.acording to what I can tell this piece pictured is suppose to raise up and the frame supports fasten with one big bolt.how exactly should it go?

I know many probably done asked before.TSC had the Shell Rottella HD that's says for Kubota.it was $114.00 for 5 gallons.anything I can use that is somewhat cheaper and won't mess up anything.

How much HP do they take to run them.and how heavy are they.would my L2900 operate it.

I took off the number one injector line from injector pump.opened the throttle wide open.turned engine clock wise by hand.but still don't see fuel spilling over out of injector pump.also didn't see marks on flywheel.what am I doing wrong?

Getting a little fixed at a time on my tractor.onto a broken front pinion shaft.i probably only use my tractor maybe 5 or 6 hours a year and will only be using 4 wheel drive if ever stuck.id like to just replace the pinion part.can I just pound it out the back without removing any axles?

I had power and cranking good.then tryed it about 20 minutes later.no lights on dash or anything.ba

It is on a L2900 with D1503 engine.head gasket looks like two piece and metel.im thinking that where cylinder is feels like ring is high that it goes up so crushes when torqued.is this way it goes?

There wasn't any instructions with them.and I didn't see any dots or anything to tell which way should be up.

I put new pistons and rings and connecting rod bearings.i ordered standard bearings but don't think there right.now won't turn.

I ordered that part number for my L2900 with D1503 engine.thats what parts book said it took.this is what I received.im thinking the rod should be straight where piston pin bushing is.but as you can see this one slants.is it suppose to be like that

I know suppose to put gaps away from middle expansion ring.but do you line up the gap of top and bottom oil ring.or do you offset then like two compression rings.

When I look up parts I always go to factory parts site and wright down factory part numbers.instead of looking for the tractor model.seems like you can find more parts that way.which is the best way? to make sure parts fit.

All the ones I see has the 8 bolt holes for valve cover.mine has the three studs that fastens up top.will them heads work with my valve cover type.

Finally got piston out.cant find the connecting rod bearing.does it look like still in cap?didn't seem like any in caps.

How do you remove the front two middle oil pan bolts?.the piece that holds front axle is in the way.also can you use a bolt instead of the pin that holds driveshaft couplers.they don't give you much room to pound out the pins.

Pulled the the head off.the cylinders all look good.but I noticed on the head a triangle shape wear the piston hit.wasnt able to remove pistons yet.what all would cause this to look for?

Is this what number I need to order correct piston for my L2900 tractor?
